The Real Meaning of Religious Liberty

For me, the real meaning of religious liberty is intensely personal.

This is the National Monument to the Forefathers, in Plymouth, Massachusetts.  It was dedicated on August 1, 1889.

On the main pedestal stands the heroic figure of “Faith” — with her right hand pointing toward heaven and her left hand clutching the Bible.

These are the foundational principles upon which our country was founded, and without which our country cannot survive.

I plan to listen to God, and our courageous forefathers; not to politicians and revisionist history.

Thank God, as an American, that is my right!
